Through Summer Undergraduate Summer Fellowship (SURF) program, Vortex group launched an EELS signal processing tool, HyperSpy, in NanoHub. Scott Mullen, an undergraduate student in Physics at Purdue, developed a GUI under the supervision of Chang Wan Han and Prof. Ortalan to make these signal processing tools more easily accessible to new users across the world and host it online. Through Summer Undergraduate Summer Fellowship (SURF) program, Vortex group launched a tomography alignment and reconstruction software tool, IMOD, and an image simulation software, QSTEM, in NanoHub. Mingxuan Lu, an undergraduate student in Chemical Engineering at Purdue, developed a GUI under the supervision of Chang Wan Han and Prof. Ortalan to make these tomography and simulation tools more easily accessible to new users across the world and host it online.
