Shuai Jiang received his B.Sc. degree in Materials Science & Engineering from University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB) in 2018. His undergraduate dissertation was on development and characterization of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs)-based electrocatalysts. Along with the research on MOFs materials, he has also worked on the synthesis of supported catalysts, where he has developed a confinement-synthesis approach to layered double hydroxide nanodots (LDH-NDs) anchored on carbon nanoparticles for better catalytic performance.He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering under the supervision of Professor Volkan Ortalan.
